Krista is a passionate and driven Owner and Clinical Director who loves working with children from various academic and behavioural backgrounds. She has always had a goal as a nurturer to be an essential part of the learning process and accomplishments of children. She has spent the last 8 years working in various settings such as IBI/ABA centres, group homes with highly behavioural clients, brain injury clinics, middle schools and home-based therapy. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and an Honours Diploma in Behavioural Science Technology specializing in ASD and Developmental Disabilities. Her passion and dedication to see each child succeed is what has driven her to continue to do this valuable work within our community. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, painting, and spending time with her cat, dog and family and friends!
Kim has a Masters of Science in Psychology and has been a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) since 2017. She feels extremely passionate about her field and how it can help many children and people reach their fullest potential. She has been working one to one and as supervising clinician for 24 years with children/teens on the Autism Spectrum. Behaviour therapy can be applied to learning, speech, social skills, and many other areas of a person’s
day. Kim is dedicated to make learning fun and thinks it is essential for parents and caregivers to be involved in the learning process. She has worked in many different environments such as IBI/ABA centres, homes, schools, and the community. Kim strives to deliver the best behaviour therapy and consultation that she can and loves to see her clients achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys snowmobiling, skating, skiing, swimming and anything else you can do outside!
Alicia has a Masters of Applied Disability Studies and has been a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) since 2016. She feels extremely passionate about inclusion and how Applied Behaviour Analysis can help many children and people be an active member in their community. Alicia has supported individuals with a range of different diagnosis in many different settings. She has experience implementing ABA out in the community, in the home environment, treatment centre as well as in the school environment. Alicia is dedicated to reaching the families goals by creating individualized programs while having parents and caregivers play a crucial role in the support plan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters and cheering on her favourite sports teams!
Christie has a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen's University and completed her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Toronto in Cognitive Science and Health Studies. She has experience working with children and adults doing activity and play-based therapies, routine-building, cognitive skills training, and exposure therapy. Christie is passionate about fostering inclusivity in healthcare and bridging gaps in accessibility in her practice. As such, she is dedicated to providing care with the best interests of the child and their families at heart. In her free time, you'll find Christie reading in a corner somewhere or planning her next travel!
Jannessa achieved her College Diploma in Developmental Service Worker (DSW) at Durham College. After graduating from the DSW program, she decided to continue her education with a Post-Grad Program in Autism and Behavioural Science at George Brown College. Currently, she is employed at York Region District School Board as an Intervention Support Worker. She is responsible for applying ABA/IBI principles to student's daily routine within mainstream classrooms/community classes and occasionally trains support staff (if needed) for applying new skills to the job. She also works 1:1 with kids with intellectual or physical disabilities, provides support with school curriculum, life skills, or other special needs. In her free time, she enjoys crafting/scrapbooking, spending time with her family and friends, and her two dogs!
Isabella graduated from George Brown College with a diploma in Behavioural Science. She is a strong and passionate Behavioural Therapist who loves teaching children and young adults. She has past experience working and volunteering with individuals with ASD aged 3-16 in various settings including homes, schools, and centres. Isabella is very excited to grow in this field and looks forward to continuing her education in the future. She is dedicated to making a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of all the people she works with. In her free time, Isabella enjoys learning new things, doing yoga, baking, and spending time with friends and family!
Meghan graduated from Trent University with an Honours Degree in Psychology. She has worked as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) at a daycare since 2021 with infants as young as 6 months old, toddlers, preschoolers, and children in the before and after school program. She recognizes the crucial role that Early Childhood Educators have on children and their families and is driven to support them using her enthusiasm and dedication to seeing every child flourish. Meghan strives to create a social and emotional foundation that leads children to fulfilling lives. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, spending time outdoors, going to the gym, and traveling!
Maddie graduated from the Community and Justice Services program and is a certified International Behaviour Therapist (IBAO). With over 10 years of diverse experience, Maddie has provided home, daycare, camp, and school-based ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), creating and implementing individualized programs tailored to each student's unique needs. Maddie is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and their families, using a compassionate and ethical approach to support their development. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping in the outback, and travelling!
Alexis has graduated from the Developmental Service Worker program and is currently in the Communicative Disorders Assistance program. She is very passionate about helping children of all abilities grow and develop new life skills. She has supported children and adults with various diagnosis. Alexis has had experience working in a camp setting, schools, respite and group homes. Her goal is to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives in a positive, patient and empathetic environment. Alexis’ biggest accomplishment has been seeing the progress of children she has worked with and how behavior therapy can improve their quality of life for the future. She looks forward to growing in this field and making a meaningful impact in children’s lives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being out in the sun, and listening to country music!
